I have seen that the Parsec Android app has been updated to 150-71, but the problem still persists. I haven't found a flawless streaming solution for the couch yet. They show up as Z axis, but only has three states (Left trigger is 0, right trigger is 1, no trigger is 0,5). The triggers do show up, but behave strange. The Xbox 360 controller has only one missing button, which is the "select" button. With Rainway I had some missing buttons for the Switch Pro controller. The Xbox 360 controller had missing triggers, and the Switch Pro controller did even have more missing buttons. I have hooked up two different controllers (Xbox 360 Wireless and Switch Pro Controller) and tried with two different streaming softwares (Parsec And Rainway).īoth controllers showed errors in Parsec. But if there's a different driver it's using depending on how you connect, then that could still be it. If they use the same virtual controller driver, then that can't be it. So that leads me to believe it has to do with the driver that Parsec is using for it's virtual xbox controller.Įdit: of course, I haven't tried PC-to-PC Parsec streaming in a while. If it works when connected straight to PC, straight to phone, and streaming on phone through xbox app, then it's not the controller, not the PC, and not the phone. I am thinking about finding the Parsec xbox controller drivers and manually re-installing them just to give it a shot. I also play with this same controller on Android for multiple other things, including xbox game pass streaming from cloud and from xbox to my phone. I have had to lower resolutions to 720 on everything just to get the lag to a minimum, and it's still laggy. Controller issues, and even lag issues on the local network. I just picked it up again to play on my phone, and now there's all sorts of issues. And then I played a bunch on Android last year just fine. It's funny because a few years ago, Parsec worked really great on PC. This confirmed there there is zero input going through from those three. I did a test by remote-connecting through parsec with my xbox one remote and then going to the gamepad tester website on the computer. Both triggers and the back button do not work at all when connected through Parsec. I'm trying to play using an xbox one bluetooth controller on my Moto G7 android phone. I do not know if this is the same issue, but I'm having a problem that sounds a lot like you guys. How is the usual update delay for the Android client? Can I expect that this update will roll out soon, or do they need a long time to update the Android client? It seems that the Android client did not get the most recent update. I just cannot find the source for this anymore. I remeber to have read that the most recent patch does solve some problems with controller recognition, expecially related to the triggers on some controller models. Is this related to Parsec? Or could it be a general problem on Android systems? Is there a way to test gamepads on Android, like the tool in windows? Since most games use triggers as standard this is a game breaker for me. When I connect my Xbox 360 Wireless Gamepad by Bluetooth the triggers do not work at all. Now I started using the Android client on my phone. I use Parsec since quite some time from PC to PC. If you have a laptop, try enable Remote Play from Steam.Hello, I've just joined this community. Steam Link used to be a thing but for some reason it has been discontinued. "Can you play a PC game on an Android phone?" "How to Play PC Games on Android Devices Using Parsec" Be warned that gaming on phone can greatly reduce battery lifetime due to the generated heat. Haven't tried it myself so I can't vouch for any of the apps. Probably a backup battery too.Īfter googling around, some say it works by installing an emulator on the phone. You're going to need a very powerful phone for this and a controller.
